Summer Thunder is a free outdoor concert series held at Union Pool. Beginning in 2010 as a monthly free daytime concert series (five shows taking place from May through September), Summer Thunder expanded to a weekly event that drew thousands of attendees over the course of 13 shows in 2014. Over the last four years, the series has featured a diverse lineup of performers including: J. Mascis, Pissed Jeans, Widowspeak, Thurston Moore, !!! (Chk Chk Chk), Light Asylum, Ex Cult, Jessica Pratt, Dam Funk, The Men, Har Mar Superstar, Johnny Fritz, Jonathan Toubin, Pampers, Luke Temple and many more....
