STARVUE is a truly special and unique venue - standing out like a blaze of colour against the greige of current clubland.
It is a safe haven for music lovers, audiophiles and dancers alike; taking things back to the essence with its select decor, choice lighting arrangements, and - perhaps most importantly - its all analog, hi-fi sound system; including a bozak mixer, macintosh amps and legendary klipschorn speakers (as famously used by David Mancuso at The Loft.)
Starvue does not sell anything, therefore patrons should bring any items they might need for the evening.
I LOVE VINYL was founded in the Summer of 2009 by six seasoned djs hailing from NYC, Chicago, Baltimore, and beyond, with over 100 years of deejaying and 100K plus records between them.
All of the available residents play every party together. No headliner. No "draw". Just the music, and the way it's played.
The parties are equal parts therapy session, history lesson, homecooked meal, and cosmic journey.
The music is deep, far-reaching, and always different. And our crowd is unusually diverse, unpretentious, and just downright nice. Everyone is welcome.
