Dacia Gallery proudly presents "Daniel Maidman: Recent Drawings," a solo exhibition and sale. These drawings represent highlights of the past year of Daniel Maidman's long-term practice of frequent life drawing. Through drawing from the live model, Maidman seeks himself, as a person and an artist. He refines his eye and hand, questions his assumptions about art and the visual, and intuits where his projects, figurative or not, want to go next. This process of exploration is always a pleasure, and his goal has been to communicate that pleasure in drawings that celebrate the vitality, variety, and beauty of the human form.
