New York, NY August 29, 2012 - Are you fascinated by the art world but are not quite sure what to look for, where to go, or how to begin? Let Artsnapper be your guide as you discover museums, galleries, public art and murals all around you.
Artsnapper is a Smartphone application that enables you to discover art wherever you are. The application allows you, to share SNAPS of the art you spot. With each snap you can set its location, write a review, and share your insights with others. The opportunities to rate art, ask questions, share and grow are limitless with Artsnapper. Artsnapper not only provides information on the art that’s all around you, but also aids in helping you learn about your personal preferences by using machine learning.
Artsnapper will be hosting a launch event on September 21st and will be granting access to the application to the participants attending the event. The event will be held in Williamsburg, which is one of the most art inclined neighborhoods in New York and will include a public mural tour and access to PIPS Art Spaceand Gitana Rosa Gallery
The event will be attended by art aficionados, gallery goers, ‘techies’, and young professionals who want to partake in the art discovery process. In addition, the event will be covered by art and tech bloggers. The founders of Artsnapper selected New York as the first city to launch due to the abundance of art and the emergence of the tech scene in New York City.
Music will be provided by DJ Alex Edge, who will release his highly anticipated album “Jouer” (Play) and will provide copies of the album to attendees.
