6/23/12- The Great NYC Scavenger Hunt JOIN NOW its FREE!
The Great New York City Scavenger
My name is Ben Guttmann, and I've organized this event for going on four years now. Each summer, we get together 50-plus people for a marathon six-hour and 125-clue scavenger hunt across the city.
In past summers, we've stolen food off strangers' plates, acted out Macbeth with tourists on the Brooklyn Bridge, held a watermelon-eating contest with a group of high-schoolers on the 42nd Street Shuttle, given away bananas on St. Marks, built a human pyramid with a church group in Union Square, and generally had some amazingly random and awesome times.
Teams must pre-register, and should be from 3-7 people, and the use of a car is discouraged.
Meet at 25th Street, between 3rd Avenue and Lexington, Manhattan
4:30p; $free, but pre-register please
