Krystyna Printup was one of the first people I photographed for my blog when I was just starting out 3.5 years ago. A complete stranger, I approached her asked if I could take her photo. She immediately asked me what it was for. (and actually kinda scared me a little!) When I explained I was starting my own streetstyle site inspired by the Sartorialist but showing more of the downtown and club kids that I felt like got ignored on his site she agreed. (and I still remember the super fly gold Jeremy Scott sneakers she was rocking that day) Anyways long story short: she became one of my early supporters and in return I helped promote the PrintUP list. Which if you don’t know it, you need to: it gives you the inside access to all the parties you should be going to but maybe didn’t get a direct invite.

NYC Sound Artist Perry Levy and Events Promoter Krystyna Printup are the designers behind PERRY AND PRINTUP NEW YORK. An accessories line dedicated to the reminisce of NYC night life, the ’80s art scene, and ’90s hip hop.

Incorporating their personal style and knowledge of underground fashion in NYC, this husband and wife duo decided to create a line that pays homage to all that is black, bold and simple. Each piece is hand made to embody the need to be seen and the desire to stand out amongst the busy hustle of any party.
