About the instructor:

Stephanie Huffaker has been working with recycled/upcycled/repurposed materials with an emphasis on disposable plastics since 2006. Four years ago she started a design project called Garbage of Eden NYC, through which she has taught recycled crafting workshops at the Brooklyn Creative League, La Guardia Community College, various Queens Library locations and Brooklyn Skillshare among others.

Stephanie hopes that through her designs and workshops she can inspire people to think differently about the way we value and use the objects around us, and how this affects the environment.
