Ahhh Art Week aside from Fashion Week this is my favorite week in NYC and the #1 reason why I love this city.
Here is a taste of what Ill be going to as a VIP guest of the Armory Show. Sadly THE PRINTUP cannot say 100% that RSVPin will get you any entry as most event require a VIP pass to enter BUT it is worth a try..... but I did warn you.

Hard Hat Tour of the African Art Museum
Please join the Museum for African Art's President Elsie McCabe Thompson as she leads an exclusive hard-hat tour of the newest cultural institution to join Museum Mile (Fifth Avenue) at 110th Street. Designed by the celebrated Robert A.M. Stern, the new building will open to the public next year. The Museum for African Art is dedicated to increasing public understanding and appreciation of the arts, cultures, and people of Africa and its Diaspora. Since its founding in 1984, the Museum has organized and toured nearly 70 exhibitions, researched and published numerous exhibition catalogues, and presented public and educational programs for all age groups.
