Craigslist Play Festival: Friday, August 21
New York, New York—Five original plays by new playwrights, each inspired by real-life Craigslist ads, will be showing for one night only—Friday, August 21 at 8:00pm at the Lutheran Church of the Messiah in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. In true Craigslist fashion, a mere suggested donation of $5 will grant you admittance to the Festival, which has a running time of approximately 1.5 hours. The Craigslist Play Festival will be great entertainment for anyone who’s had a good, bad, or simply bizarre Craigslist experience of his or her own. The Lutheran Church of the Messiah is located at 129 Russell Street between Nassau and Driggs Avenues.
Directions: From Manhattan, take the Uptown E Train to 23rd Street (Ely Avenue), then transfer to the G Train to Brooklyn and get off at Nassau Avenue. Alternative forms of transportation include taking the Brooklyn L to Graham Street and either hopping on the B43 bus or your bike!
