Join the most civic cyclists in town for our annual bike ride celebrating the most magnificent bridge in the world - the one and only Brooklyn Bridge! We will create a roundtrip DIY bike parade through Williamsburg, the periphery of the Navy Yard , through Ft. Greene and Downtown Brooklyn to approach the mighty Gothic towers via the elevated bike and pedestrian ramp. Upon reaching the Brooklyn tower, there will be cake, beverages and live music, and a recital of the thrilling history of the bridge's construction by licensed NYC tour guide Matt Levy. Bring your birthday hats and celebratory attitudes! Part of Bike Month 2009"
