There is not much to comment on the most recent show that the YES Gallery in Greenpoint Brooklyn hosted this past Saturday. Bitter to say that the shows disorganized planning left out over 24 participants, mostly unknown Pratt graduates, and showed a lack of professionalism in the actual art handing/ presentation of the work. Handing out beer to underaged Sheepsters™Printup (what I like to deem a real hipster) and waiting on buyers to purchase the $99 bucked prints, the YES Gallery is more like the NO Gallery. Although I was impressed with the amount of attendees on a snow ridden day, but common, what show openings are from 1pm till 8 pm? And with this in mind, who can lend me some cash to buy a basement apt, set up dry wall, and start charging hundreds of dollars for unknown art?
