NYC looses a gem!

Love Saves The Day, the purveyor of vintage kitsch on 2nd Avenue and 7th Street is closing (insert frown here) RACKED reports. In 2005, after more than 20 years LSTD nearly vanished when their rent tripled, according to The Villager, who reported, "It’s a shame," said Leslie Herson, the store’s owner and founder. "New York is losing its individuality because little stores like mine can’t compete." Love Saves The Day will close in mid-January, their shop in New Hope, PA will remain open. Sad.- 212dressingroom.com

All I can say is that I had my sweet 16 across from LSTD, and this was my dream store. Totally going to miss this place.
