RANT: Chambord with Sbranti not a "hip hostess"

I go to alot of event, alot. And this by far takes a smalls slice of the cake for un-organization.

You would think to believe an event based on How to Host the Perfect event, would understand how to coordinate times and planning. When I arrived there was already a spew of woman lined up (not a good look since a womans shelter was next door) When approaching the door the woman (hesitant) told me the fact that the event is over packed because of a previous event and that they are slowly  pushing the other party out. BULLSHIT. No really, time is a ticking since the event is only an 1 1/2 long. I am not bitter dear readers, but I just want to inform you sometimes on how nights dont pan out even when your there ontime, on the list, and got the pulls, I mean seriously how many people where inside the event (the woman in front of me was online since 6:45, for a 7:30 event) Finally a woman came out to inform of us that its one out, one in. A woman yells "I was here so early this is crazy...give us gift bags, well be happy then!!, and it worked. The pressure, the in vision of 50 woman  rioting out side,not good press at all, so she gave in. We were all treated with out gift bags,yummy a mini Chambord and a shot glass, and nail polish? Eh whatever, cant complain....wait YES I CAN. Finally we made it up to the door and I was told "we can let you in, BUT then in 5mins we will be kicking everyone out to set up for the 9:30 event." As I look at my clock it is only 8:27...the event is going on till 9, so what is the woman talking about. I cant deal....bottom line,

"Hip Hostess" event with Jennifer Sbranti and Chambord in NYC was a bust. Im sure she is a wonderful host with all the know to know, but who ever planned and organized the event needs to take a few tips from Jennifer and try again.
