It's going to be a rather cheeky night of electro-centric dancefloor antics... LA Riots are coming to town to play an exclusive set for us. These guys have remixed everyone from Justice to the Ting Tingsto Chromeo to Hot Chip... and too many more to mention. And their remixes are sick. They are proteges of the godfathers of the scene - MSTRKRFT - who they have toured with extensively. They have recently signed to Fools Gold Records.
Baltimore-based Dave Nada has been building a buzz for himself over the last few months... He is a longstanding resident at Taxlo, voted “best party in America” by Blender Magazine. Even in a time of declining record sales, Dave Nada’s regular releases on T&A (label of Tittsworth & DJ Ayres, of The Rub) rapidly sell out. As a DJ, we are told this guy is incredible.
Brooklyn-based Production duo, Streetlab, have remixed Crystal Castles, Heartsrevolution,Cassius, Thieves Like Us and many more, as well as producing their own original material. They will be playing an early live set for us - so it is officially time to get excited!!
Also, we have just booked Wallpaper to play an early live set.
